You might recognise Duncan Ashwell as an underwriter from some of our recent advertising, but now he’s delighted to be taking on a new role as manager of our Business Development team.
Duncan has been with Countrywide for over 11 years, starting off in Marketing before switching to Underwriting. But whether he’s been handling your enquiries, or conducting customer satisfaction surveys, he’s spent plenty of time in regular contact with our customers.
That means he’s developed a good ear for listening to what you want. Coupled with a solid understanding of the company and the service we provide, he’s perfectly placed to be leading a team that’s dedicated to answering the question: what can we do to help you?
For many of our customers, the first step to answering that question is a visit from our team at their office, and Duncan’s ready to hit the road. “I’m looking forward to taking some of our underwriters with me to meet our customers face-to-face,” Duncan told us. “Our customers really appreciate the chance to pick the brains of the people that handle their enquiries every day, and we receive a lot of requests for our presentations on how we underwrite enquiries and handle claims, which are full of real-life case studies. A visit is also a great opportunity to talk about ways we can tailor our service to the firm!”
